Our solutions push the boundaries of possible. Our products provide the most accurate attitude solution even under the most challenging operating conditions. Learn how our customers leverage the performance and SWaP characteristics of our products to drive mission success
The value of an inertial navigation system is not defined by its performance under ideal conditions. All our products are engineered, manufactured and tested to handle the edge cases, providing reliable performance in real-world conditions. We deliver robust performance for a fraction of the size and weight you would expect. Whether in flight, on land, or at sea, our products can help you achieve what was impossible just a few years ago.
VectorNav IMUs (Inertial Measurement Units) provide high data rate, low noise accelerometer and gyro data, fully calibrated across the full temperature range of the -40 °C to +85 °C. Each IMU includes an onboard AHRS (Attitude Heading and Reference System) algorithm, delivering real-time, continuous attitude over the full 360 degree range of motion for optimal heading estimates in the most challenging magnetic environments. Data provided:
VectorNav’s GNSS/INS (GNSS-Aided Inertial Navigation System) products feature the industry’s leading INS algorithms, delivering performance well beyond what products of its size and weight commonly deliver, even in the most challenging dynamic conditions. Data provided by a GNSS/INS:
VectorNav’s Dual GNSS-Aided INS products are the most robust solution for inertial navigation in applications with varying dynamics. Each Dual GNSS/INS seamlessly estimates heading, pitch and roll using a combination of its onboard INS and GPS-Compass. This provides accurate heading estimates in all operating conditions, without reliance on a magnetometer. Data provided by a Dual GNSS/INS:

Integrating inertial navigation systems is difficult. VectorNav provides the industry’s most customer-focused, robust and responsive support ecosystem to ensure mission success. Depend on VectorNav support throughout your entire product life-cycle, from ideation to support in the field.
Since our founding in 2008, we have been guided by one mission: the Relentless Pursuit of Inertial Navigation Excellence. It has led us to produce solutions that provide unrivaled performance and capability that delivers under the most challenging conditions.
GREG DAVIS, FOUNDER OF OVERWATCH IMAGINGSUPERIOR SWAP-C AND PERFORMANCE
VectorNav has an excellent reputation in the marketplace. When a review of available solutions showed that the VN-200 surpassed other INS solutions in size, cost and performance our choice was clear.
KONSTANTINS POPIKS, CTO AT UAV FACTORYSUPPORT THROUGHOUT
Our questions were sorted out quickly even though we’re located on different continents. We also found that the price to performance ratio of the VectorNav products is very good, and we are integrating these sensors into our future products.
JEFF HOPKINS, V.P. CTO, TROLL SYSTEMSTRUSTED PARTNER IN INERTIAL NAVIGATION
Troll Systems have been using VectorNav products for over 10 years. Until discovering VectorNav’s VN-200 we struggled to find methods of accurately determining heading and attitude on our tracking antennas. Our antennas require sub-degree accuracy. The VN-200 provides that on our dynamic platforms. With the introduction of the VN-300 VectorNav brought the same level of accuracy and ease of use to stationary platforms using their dual-GPS technology. This has truly been a game-changer for us. Accuracy, miniaturization, and a strong OEM relationship have lead to a great long-term relationship.
JIM MORASH, SAILDRONEINDUSTRY-LEADING SUPPORT
VectorNav has been a pleasure to work with. Every one of our questions has been answered promptly and thoroughly, with a wealth of technical details and guidance. Support has always been available when we needed it.
FEDERICO ZARGHETTA, CEO OF SKYTECH RESEARCHTRUSTED PARTNER FOR INERTIAL NAVIGATION
VectorNav helped us in our moment of need and have continued to support us as we bring new products to market. We are extremely glad to be able to partner with them.
MONICA RODRIGUEZ, R&D COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER AT HYDRA TECHNOLOGIESENGINEERED FOR THE EDGE CASES
The VN-200 provided the best attitude performance and exceeded all expectations of what could be achieved in our high vibration environment, even outperforming larger, more expensive systems.
PARAG BATAVIA, PRESIDENT OF NEYA SYSTEMSPERFORMANCE BEYOND THE SPEC SHEET
The VN-200 is a very impressive device. VectorNav have done an excellent job packing this level of performance into such a small package.
NICHOLAS ALLEY, AREA-IINDUSTRY-LEADING SUPPORT
VectorNav has been a trusted partner of Area-I’s for over 5 years. Their sensors have contributed to the success of several high-risk, experimental flight programs, while their in situ problem solving and customer service have allowed Area-I to continue pushing the envelope with our vehicles.
